At Bmore Basketball, we’re more than just a basketball academy — we’re a foundation for personal growth.
Whether your student athlete is just starting or looking to sharpen elite-level skills, our focus remains the same: help them grow into leaders, teammates, and better humans.
Our mission
Is to create an environment where kids build lifelong relationships while developing rock-solid habits through the game of basketball. We use the sport as a tool to instill discipline, confidence, and a strong work ethic both on and off the court.

my story
Jevaun Bishop started playing basketball at age of ten, but he didn’t truly fall in love with the game until playing for Baltimore Raven Terrill Suggs’ sponsored AAU team (Team Sizzle) in the 6th grade. Jevaun played AAU ball for four years, averaging 20 points a game. Jevaun went on to play varsity basketball at Kasa High School. There, he led a team that had never won a single game to a city championship and undefeated season.
At the age of 18, right after his senior season, Jevaun was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. The doctors told Jevaun he couldn’t play high-level basketball anymore. He was devastated. Dreams of playing college basketball that had almost been a reality vanished like smoke.
Jevaun was forced to accept this new reality. He could never play basketball competitively again.
Jevaun’s love for the game made forgetting basketball unthinkable, and while he couldn’t play anymore, he could still teach others to play. Jevaun developed an enormous passion for training others. He started out training his little brother James Bishop by taking him to local courts to work on his shooting and ball handling. Jevaun trained his brother James 3 to 4 times a day while recording and documenting his progress to focus on areas of improvement. James is the number 3 all time scorer for George Washington University, played in the NBA summer league last summer and is currently playing in Europe.
